Oh what a time here! The rain forest is glorious, the kids loved the pool and the food at El Verde was the best we've found so far on the island. We had a great time playing grapefruit bocce out in the yard. And just listening to the coquis outside at night was so sweet! I wish that we had been able to spend more time here - but a week would not have been enough. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the hospitality. The fresh-baked goods were wonderful. It was very quiet and peaceful. Great for hiking, if that's what your thing is. Unfortunately, it rained every day, which made it cool out. Your property is lovely. It's too bad we could not use all of our time here due to weather restrictions at home - we arrived late.

Wow - What a beautiful place. The views are spectacular! Our vacation to PR was the best and staying here at your Hideaway with the coquis made it the "bestest"! Thank you for sharing your little part of heaven here in Puerto Rico. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - from the basket of PR goodies (and that banana bread!) to the daily grapefruit and bananas. Robin especially enjoyed making Pina Coladas. Your thorough descriptions of local attractions were perfect - we chose hikes in El Yunque (don't miss Juan Diego Falls!), kayaking in the Humacao Nature Reserve, and touring Old San Juan with your walking guides. It was great to be able to come "home" after a busy day and relax by the pool or on the veranda. Thank you for providing such a lovely location. We'll be sure to recommend!

We were completely satisfied and really liked the house, amenities and the property. When coming back to Puerto Rico we will be only looking to stay at your home when staying on the main island. What an enjoyable 4-night stay we had at your private rain forest estate! The guest cottage was extremely comfortable, convenient and well equipped for our party of six adults. Lots of thanks to Ray and Gwenn for being such excellent hosts. We had a really nice stay at Coqui's Hideaway. The property is enormous, lush, beautiful, quiet, secluded, and even has a nice pool for cooling off after a hot day in the tropics. The inside is extremely clean, spacious, well-decorated, and comes complete with all the necessary amenities. The location is great for exploring San Juan, Fajardo, and the El Yunque rainforest. Ray and Gwenn are wonderful and friendly hosts who take great care in making sure your stay is pleasant. I highly recommend Coqui's Hideaway as the best place to stay in the northeast region of Puerto Rico.

We would like to thank you for your hospitality and kindness. You thought of every little detail that we might forget on a vacation. You made this our " home away from home" vacation. Coqui's Hideaway is really Coqui's Hideaway Paradise! It is very beautiful and relaxing. Tiffany, Gisselle and Benji would like to thank you for letting them use the pool anytime they wanted. They really enjoyed themselves, even us grown-ups, too. We enjoyed the bioluminescent bay at Mosquito Bay in Vieques. You were right - it was amazing. Everyone should have the experience. We had so much fun snorkeling- even my 3 year old was snorkeling! We all had a great time. Thank you for the sunblock suggestion - it helped a lot. My sisters-in-law enjoyed you home so much they don't want to go home. My kids and sister-in-law enjoyed picking the grapefruit and walking around the yard and looking at your beautiful flowers. My husband and I have been to PR a few times now (my husband was born in Mayaguez), and we've stayed in many different places. I must say this has been my favorite! You guys really thought of everything. Our kids loved all the games, DVDs and the pool. We enjoyed having dinner on the veranda while watching the sun set. The Pina Coladas, banana bread and fruit were delicious. Coqui's Hideaway was everything that I hoped it would be after booking it online.
