Our stay here was wonderful! Your place is beautiful and you have thought of everything. All the extras were much appreciated! We enjoyed the views and solitude your location provided. Central to all that we did. Enjoyed hiking in the rain forest, snorkeling off the Spread Eagle II, the biobay in Vieques, Old San Juan, and exploring the island. Great food recommendations and day trip ideas! Loved the flowers on your property. Thanks for creating such a wonderful place to stay while visiting Puerto Rico. We all loved it here! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Thank you all so much. We had an incredible time here in Puerto Rico. Your Hideaway provided the perfect home away from home. Your hospitality has been greatly appreciated and your warmth did not go unnoticed. The views from this Hideaway are spectacular and very convenient. There is nothing more that we could have asked for to make our stay more enjoyable. Coco Beach was amazing, and the rain forest a lovely experience. Thank you once again for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Coqui's Hideaway. Enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning & "happy hour" in the evenings. All the information provided was very helpful. We spent one day at El Yunque hiking. Loved the rain forest & the beaches.

I really like the place. The rooms, the kitchen, everything! My favorite thing in the house is the bean bag chairs in the living room. Thanks for letting us stay here. And, also, thanks for letting Maya stay for a few evenings.

Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. When we had a question you were right there (directions, places to eat, activities, etc.), but never in the way. The kids had a great time on the property. Thanks again for everything. I'm sure we will be back.

Thanks so much for your hospitality. We really felt like home but, of course, better. The kids are saying they're already missing playing with Coco and Maya. It felt like family here even though it was a short vacation (we think). Definitely, we will be back soon and enjoy your pool :-) Heading back to New Jersey :-(

Thanks so much for the wonderful place to stay. We had a great time hiking in the river and visiting the rain forest. The boys really appreciated that Gwenn caught a coqui for them. The fresh fruit was wonderful - both eating it and seeing all your fruit trees - thanks for the tour. We'd love to come visit again someday.

Staying at the Hideaway was just wonderful. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Your property is amazing, it is truly a home away from home. Everything we needed was here, and that's tough when you're traveling with six. The kids loved playing with Coco in the yard, and the visits from Maya really made them smile. Thank you for a great week and good luck in the future. We will be spreading the "Coqui's Hideaway" word back home, and look forward to visiting again.

The pictures of Coqui's Hideaway are accurate, but they don't tell the whole story. The rooms are immaculate, the scenery gorgeous, and the sunsets are breathtaking! The unit is large, has everything you could possibly think of wanting, and we were greeted with a fruit basket and banana bread. Coquis (frogs), roosters, goats, parrots and other sounds of the rainforest are ready for you when you awaken, no sounds of the city at all - aaahhh. Local grocery store right around the corner for food supplies, and pretty central to many beaches, Camuy Caves, and Old San Juan ... and don't forget about the waterfalls at El Yunque! If you're even thinking of staying at Coqui's Hideaway - don't hesitate. Perfect.

We had a great week here in PR. We went to Culebra, and the Vieques bio-bay with East Island Tours. Both trips were first class. We spent a day on Icacos snorkeling and beachcombing. Captain Mingo does a great job and is very friendly. We hiked to the top of El Yunque, and did other shorter trails in the rain forest including La Mina Falls. We recommend a long drive on Route 186, it is challenging but there are many great views. Thanks Ray and Gwenn for providing a perfect place to stay.

Thank you for such a wonderful time in Puerto Rico. The villa was amazing. You guys thought of everything when it came to providing a home away from home. Renting out a villa was an experience worthwhile. Living in a hotel probably would not have been as relaxing. The roads made us a bit anxious at first; but after about a day, we were more than comfortable with them. Thanks for quality living, recommendations as to where to go, and directions to get there. We loved the rain forest and Old San Juan. We will be sure to come back and visit Puerto Rico again. You guys are the best.

It was great seeing you again after 4 years. You've done an excellent job of building a home for yourselves and your guests. All of your recommendations for food and recreation were wonderful. We would have spent many days in the rain forest if we had the time. Maddy also had a blast playing frisbee with the dogs! They were so cute! Thank you for being such good friends and good hosts.

Thanks for your unending hospitality and help. I'm sure that without your directions we'd still be driving aimlessly around El Yunque. Absolutely perfect for a get-away, and with a vista around every corner. My one wish would be that the roads be a little wider, or the traffic somewhat slower.

Thank you so much for hosting us at your absolutely beautiful place. I really wish we had more time to talk! Now we are leaving without properly saying "Good Bye", but I know that you'll understand. Your location is perfect for everything! We are leaving with many memories & lots of stories, but most importantly - the sun tan! Again, thank you so much for everything! Selecting a place to stay in while on vacation can be challenging for the do-it-yourself interneter. You guys have put a lot of work and a labor of love to create a tropical paradise. If there was something we hadn't thought of, you did. Attention to detail was not spared. Everything was meticulous. Coqui's Hideaway became more than just a home away from home. You all were great, including the "5 girls". We'll be back!

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation in this delightful home. Very organized, well-equipped & spotless, as well as charming. Great location! Lovely view. We liked Luquillo Beach & Piñones. Hope to return next year. Baby Clive loved the bananas. Good luck with your farm & thanks for everything!

What a great place. It's just a short drive from San Juan, but it feels like another world. The house is incredibly clean and has everything you need. I probably could have spent the whole weekend just relaxing on the property and still felt like I went somewhere great. The price was a real bargain. Eating fresh fruit right off the tree -- that was priceless.

We just returned from a long weekend at Coqui's Hideaway. The villa was immaculate, very comfortable and private. The grounds are beautiful, I couldn't get over the amount of plants and fruits growing on the property. My favorite spot was on the veranda overlooking the property, mountains and sea. Coqui's Hideaway is the perfect place to retreat at the end of a day exploring the island. My favorite trip was to the private island Icacos spent snorkeling, relaxing and swimming. The hosts, Ray and Gwenn, were wonderful and gave us tips and advice about the island. I will definitely recommend the villa to family and friends and hope to return again.

The hosts/owners of Coqui's Hideaway have done a great job of making this villa comfortable, well appointed, tastefully decorated and most of all CLEAN. (Having stayed at another local guest villa we cannot over emphasize the cleanliness of Coqui's Hideaway.) The villa provides you with all the comforts of home. The property is close to El Yunque, and centrally located between Fajardo and San Juan. It is a perfect retreat for exploring the metro areas and the northeast side of the island. You should not miss the bio bay, a hike to the top of El Yunque and a day exploring Old San Juan. Your hosts Gwenn & Ray are there to assist with directions or suggestions for activities. After returning from your day's activities you get to unwind and enjoy the view from the veranda. Coqui's Hideaway is a perfect alternative to hotel vacations. Thank you for a great week in Puerto Rico.

We're back in Chicago surviving snow storms. I wanted to thank you, with much gratitude, for such a beautiful and comfortable house. We enjoyed it thoroughly, and we're certainly coming back - possibly next year. We immediately recommended your place to our friends. I can tell you that the stay at your house was the highlight of our trip - beautiful place, beautiful house, beautiful owners!

It was my first visit to Puerto Rico and it couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. To celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary, my family rented Ray and Gwenn's "hideaway". As a surprise, Ray and Gwenn arranged to have a bottle of chilled champagne, sweet strawberries, cheese and candles all set-up and waiting on the Veranda for our arrival ... the company and the view were wonderful. Since the temperature was close to 85 degrees, I was very tempted to extend my stay a couple extra days. I didn't want to think about returning to 25 degree weather in PA. Ray and Gwenn were exceptional hosts, helping us with directions and recommendations on places to go and sites to see. All in all, I hope I get the chance to visit again very soon.

We truly enjoyed our Christmas holiday at Coqui's Hideaway. Ray & Gwenn made us very welcome! Inside the rooms are bright, airy & clean - outside you're surrounded by rain forest. I personally loved waking up to the sound of all the birds every morning. And the extra little touch on Christmas with Coqui's eggnog was great! (would love the recipe) Thanks soooooo much!!
