We thoroughly enjouyed our week at Coqui's Hideaway! Everything was perfect! From the mement we sent the first email inquiry about the property, it was so professional and organized. We appreciated all of the special touches and how well thought out the whole process was. Exceeded our expectations in every regard. We enjoyed a long hike to the top of El Yunque, a day in Old San Juan, and Guavate for the pork highway. Amazing meals at La Parrilla (kiosks), La Estacion, Carabali, El Verde BBQ (amazing take-out), and Ekelekua (fish tacos!). We hope to return again soon!

Best Thanksgiving Ever! Except that it is our last night here. On to Culebra tomorrow for 3 nights. Check out Kayaking Puerto Rico for the biobay tour. It is magical! Also, a not-as-well-known tour to the sea cave / lunch / 7 arches. The half-day rainforest tour from San Juan (you don't have to drive there as it is in the opposite direction. They will meet you in Luquillo, and have you follow them) is FULL of adventure, wonder, and natural beauty. One of our favorite things so far was unplanned - Ray and Gwenn have created a path from here to some incredible waterfalls. If it isn't rainy, and therefore safe to hike to and experience, DO IT! We loved all of the plants and trees around the property. We discovered something new each day. This place is incredibly unique as are its owners. Memories are something to carry with you for a lifetime and tie you together. Definitely created many in PR so far! Be amazing, you only get one life to live!

We so enjoyed all the work you put into making Coqui's Hideaway the most outstanding botanical garden in Puerto Rico! We just walked the property and birded, seeing a super group of birds that we don't see in Louisville. Thanks for such a clean, well-provisioned part of your house you shared with us, and adding so many personal touches! I appreciate how you would check on us to make sure we had everything and knew how to navigate where we were going. We have a new food dish to try and make - the mofongo - the best. We hope to get back soon!

Thanks your for all your hospitality. Coqui's Hideaway exceeded my expectations. My cousins, best friend and I had a blast. We took a boat tour, drove to the south, went to Luquillo beach, and the natural springs. The fruit was amazing. I have already recommended your place and will continue to do so.

We were in Puerto Rico for the summer on a working vacation. Staying at Coqui's Hideaway was our reward before returning home. We loved being in the midst of all the flora & fauna. We especially enjoyed the view, the gardens, and the pool. We caught the Perseid Meteor Shower from the the back porch! We took excursions to kayak the lagoon at the Humacao Nature Reserve, to Hacienda Muñoz coffee plantation, and to swim at the balneario in Luquillo. Ray & Gwenn are wonderful hosts! It is easy to be here, as they have thought of everything. Thank you for the exotic fruits and a truly wonderful experience.

Thank you for your hospitality. Our stay had the right balance of relaxation for mom and dad, and fun for the kids. We loved the garden, the pool, and the hike to the waterfall. Thank you for the wonderful suggestions on food and places to visit. Our morning coffee on the balcony was a dream come true. We loved the fresh fruit from your garden, and the piña coladas. The kids gave this week an A+, so thank you for all that you did to make that happen.

Wow! What can we say? We have had a beautiful family vacation with accommodations that exceeded expectations! Thanks for thinking of everything - directions, things to do, and responsiveness to our questions. We enjoyed eating food from El Verde BBQ. We had a blast horseback riding at Carabalí, spending the afternoon at Luquillo Beach, and kayaking in the biobay. We also enjoyed Old San Juan and dinner (and watching flamenco) at Triana Tapas. The pool was great, and the views exceptional. We usually aim for a beachfront view, but the sights and sounds of the rainforest and mountains were just as relaxing and restorative. Thanks for helping to make our family time and much needed vacation a wonderful, restorative treasure of time.
