We concluded our two-week honeymoon, and it was a fantastic finish to a wonderful adventure. We loved our welcome package of fruit and piña coladas. The pool was a great addition to relax in after a long day of adventure. The location of this place made for a great "base camp" to seek out all that Puerto Rico has to offer! We will be back!

What an amazing time we had at Coqui's Hideaway - our second visit! The property is its own destination - hinking around the fruit trees, swimming, and gazing at the sunsets from the porch. Ray & Gwenn are the ultimate hosts - we enjoyed chatting with them about the property and local destinations. Can't wait to come back again.

Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home and pool! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to come back. While here, we • ate takeout from El Verde BBQ (more variety earlier in the day), • went to Luquillo Beach (they rent and install a big umbrella for $13 for the whole day), • visited Old San Juan twice (La Princesa parking lot is $4 or $5 for the whole day). Make sure to try to coconut, pineapple, parcha and strawberry helados. There are 2 restaurants that share outdoor space by Parque de las Palomas. One is PR food, and the other is Mexican. Great food and service. • drove to Guanica Dry Forest. Shortest hike is 45 minutes. Wear proper hiking/running shoes and bring lots of water. • ate at El Bohio Restaurant in the Joyuda area. So good. Outdoor seating, and you can watch the tarpon eating scraps. Drinks were potent! • drove to the Camuy Cavern and the ceremonial park on the same day, • ate at the kiosks in Luquillo, • shopped at just about every grocery store. Famcoop has the best local products • visited El Yunque. Thank you again - until next time

We loved our time in Puerto Rico! While we were here, we visited El Yunque, Old San Juan, the biobay in Fajardo, Flamenco Beach and Tamarindo Beach in Culebra. In the evening, we enjoyed looking at the property and swimming in the pool.

Thanks so much for the best vacation possible. It was such a great experience to see and do Puerto Rico, and then have this perfect piece of paradise to come back to each night. It could not have been better. The property is amazing, and the view from the porch and pool even better! When I come back to Puerto Rico again (and I definitely will) I will look forward to staying at Coqui's Hideaway again!

Where do I start? Our stay at Coqui's Hideaway has been incredible - from our breakfasts on the veranda, to our botanical garden tour, to the relaxing poolside evenings. We really had to tear ourselves away for other activities! We spent time at Luquillo beach, a day in Old San Juan, the biobay kayak tour in Fajardo, kayaking at Humacao Nature Reserve, as well as a half-day snorkel tour to Icacos beach - such a blast! We discovered a scrumptious gelato shop in Old San Juan called Anita La Mamma, located on the oldest street of the city. More than one stop was made at Degree 18 Juice Bar in Palmer for fresh eats - their smoothies hit the spot! On our last night, we made a point to get take-out from El Verde BBQ to enjoy by the pool. It was perfect. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay!

Coqui's Hideaway is seriously the most beautiful place I have stayed at in PR. Being from the island, I have come back to visit many times, and this was one of my favorites. We were able to see and do so many things. Favorite beaches: Luquillo, Playa Negro, el Tunel de Guajataca, La Sardinera (in Hatillo). The zipline at Junglequi is awesome. Old San Juan is a must-see. Our favorite restaurant near by was Don Pepe. There were 4 of us - myself, my boyfriend, and his aunt & uncle. It was our first big trip together, and it is one we will never forget. Thank you for everything! Staying at your beautiful home was a treat.

The pool was awesome and the beach. I'm so glad we got to stay here. Thank you so much. The turtle nest walk on the beach was great, and I wish I could do it again. One of our favorite places to be.

This trip was relaxing and adventurous. We were immediately blown away with the view and beautiful plant life on the property. My boys (ages 9 & 10) loved exploring, and we all loved the pool and sitting on the veranda as a family playing board games. We did zip-lining, UTV tour, go-karts, a day in Old San Juan, a day in El Yunque, and at least 5 trips to the beach with boogie boards. This property is amazing, and we hope to come back again!

I loved the pool, and watching my favorite movie "Space Jam" and eating popcorn. I'm going to open the door, go to the airport, fly home, and go back to school. I want to come back here with my Papa, Mama, Auntie Sooz, and grandma someday. I celebrated my 4th birthday at Coqui's Hideaway.

This trip has been absolutely marvelous, and the bedrock of our stay in PR was spending time here at Coqui's Hideaway. The garden, flora, and magnificient view from basicaly anywhere on the property are the perfect way to begin and end each day. After nearly 3 weeks of constant travel around BVI and PR, we found Coqui's Hideaway to be a much-needed respite. The peace and tranquility here is well appreciated, not to mention the beauty and intrigue of the gardens. We learned a lot about local plants, animals, and insects that would otherwise have not been revealed if we had not stayed here. Thank you so much for your insights and answers to our questions. Also, we appreciated hearing your own history and episodes that brought you here, as well as insights on the local culture. During our stay, we enjoyed 3 days of sunny, breezy weather. Hiked to the upper summit of El Yunque, and visited 2 marinas while exploring the east coast. Also cooked some good food on the grill and kitchen, which was a welcomed change from eating out for weeks on end. That being said, we discovered the great chicken shack (El Verde BBQ), the PR-style food truck park, and tasted local beer at the new small craft brewery. All great owners at those places. We loved their enthusiasm. Two days we spent just relaxing inside when continuous rain storms rolled in. The sound of the rain created a soothing background to rest and read, especially on the porch. Thanks for all the fresh fruit - we ait it all, and picked some more. Special thanks for the football-sized papaya. It was perfectly ripe, and we ate it for breakfast over 2 days. What a treat! We wish you guys well in your future and aspirations now that Gwenn has "retired".
