We spent wonderful family time together and everything revolved around your little piece of paradise! You have thought of everything - the flower arrangement, the fruit bowl, delicious banana bread, and the other goodies. And Coqui's is perfect - clean and well-maintained, with utensils, silverware, towels, beach stuff. We enjoyed Scrabble, Uno, and Jenga, chilled on the porch, grilled at the pool, cooked family meals in the kitchen, and even swam in the cold pool. We appreciated your recommendations and enjoyed the Christmas service at San Jose Church in Luquillo. And thank you for escorting us from El Verde when we arrived late at night. Puerto Rico was a joy! We loved OSJ, and did a walking tour, and ate a wonderful meal. We visited El Portal del Yunque, and hiked to Mt. Britton and Las Picachos. We enjoyed Luquillo and Seven Seas beaches. Great lunches at La Parrilla and Edelweiss in Luquillo. Our favorite place was Cueva del Indio - what a magnificent recommendation! We'll leave PR and miss its tropical beauty. The background symphony of the coquis, the iguanas, the snales the lizard-like creatures on the path to the pool, the stick insects, and so much more. But most of all, we'll miss Coqui's Hideaway, and your warm and generous hospitality. PR will miss you (as will we). Good luck on your next adventure.

We are so grateful to have stayed in such a beautiful place! It has been wonderful, and we've had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed all the treats: the fruit is delicious, we were introduced to new snacks, and were given the ingredients to make piña coladas (which we did happily). We took time to explore El Yunque, and were astounded by its beauty. We also went to Old San Juan, where we counted approximately 138 cats. We were able to try all kinds of delicious new food. Thank you for your generous hospitality, and we hope to return soon!

As you know, our stay here was not a vacation. It was a family emergency, and I was happy that Coqui's Hideaway was available for the few days we needed to stay. We made the best of these few days. We went to Golden Corral for brunch after the cemetery - it is a great place for a large group, they have a variety of food, salad, dessert, and a good price. We also had dinner at La Parilla by Luquillo Beach. Great food. Thank you for the fruit basket. We enjoy all the fruit from your property, and the beautiful flowers. This was our third stay, and we love it. We will definitely be back soon. I will definitely recommend Coqui's Hideaway - which I have. My sister-in-law has stayed here with her sister, my husband, and my son. Thank you again.

We can't thank you enough for all the thoughtful things you did and provided us during our stay. Your property is stunning, and we so enjoyed breakfast on the veranda (especially the fruit samples you left us from your property)., walking the property, visiting the falls/pool, and all the time spent at the pool. We loved listening to all the animals come alive at night, and tiptoe around the snails as they came out along the path after sunset. Thank you so much for inviting us along to witness your dedicated work with the leatherback sea turtles. Mike & Conner loved it. They even enjoyed the fresh coconut juice your friend graciously opened and offered to them. Your thorough explanations/instructions about driving, parking, daytrips, and everything in between were much appreciated. Your home had everything we could ever have needed. Trying the "miracle fruit" was such a fun and mind-blowing experience. Of course, we owe you a special thanks for getting your neighbor to help us jump-start our car. Thank you for being such incredible hosts.

Thank you so much for having such an amazing place for guests to enjoy. You have literally thought of everything! We enjoyed • the pool and your gardens, • El Yunque - we hiked all day. Mt Britton was challenging, but worth it. Angelito Trail was a great finish to cool off, • Old San Juan has so much hitory, food, & shopping, • Cueva del Indio in Arecibo is so worth the drive, • Culebra with Pure Adveture was a bucket-list day of beach and snorkel, • Carabali Park ATV & UTV (2 hours) tour was so much fun, • lunch at Rico Pan, • dinners by the pool, • local shopping in Rio Grande at Caribbean Mystique and the local arts shop across from it had awesome local gifts. We enjoyed meeting you all, and all the pups too. If we are ever able to come back to PR, we will stay here no question!

Wow … just WoW! It's always bit anxiety-inducing to book a vacation home online without seeing it in person or knowing someone who had been there. But you quickly alleviated all of our concerns and completely exceeded our expectations. I'm a total nature dork and take pleasure in making our own 13 acres into a place that spotlights the Lord's creations. You, however, have taken it to a whole new level! This place feels like paradise! My kids and I enjoyed exploring the property and using plant and bird ID apps to learn about the different things we discovered. The house itself lent itself so well to accommodating our family, which can be challenging because of our 4 kids. You provided so many amenities that we didn't expect (but absolutely appreciated). This house feels like a home, not just "a place to stay". Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing your little stice of paradise with us! This is our first time in PR, and I don't think I can ever return without had stay here at the Hideaway. We had such a wonderful time, and packed so much adventure into our short time here. Our favorites were El Yunque, Hacienda Muñoz coffee tour, Luquillo Beach, and Culebra. We opted for the flight, to Culebra over the ferry, and were so happy we did. That's an adventure all on it's own. We snorkled at Tamarindo with sea turtles - what a treat! Flamenco and Zoni were gorgeous. Our favorite food was served at El Oceano en tu Mesa - just up the road on 3 - we ate twice! La Familia #2 was our favorite bakery - their oatmeal was the best I've ever tasted! El Punto del Rico Coco is a food truck right on the river, and they had amazing food too - their skirt steak and coconut rice was delicious! We can't say enough good things about our stay here, and we hope to see you again soon! PS - all of your love and hard work you've poured into the house and grounds is amazingly clear and much appreciated. You guys ROCK!

To say that we enjoyed Coqui's is an extremely huge understatement! It is so beautiful and peaceful, and you have thought of everything to may our stay amazing. We truely enjoyed the pool, walking the beautiful gardens, the hike to the waterfall, the delicious piña coladas and banana bread, and all of the magical sounds at night! We are especially appreciative of all you do for animals - I was a bit nervous coming to PR because of the stray animals (I knew it would make me so sad), but getting to Coqui's and seeing all you do for them, and the dog food to keep in our car - it meant a lot. We have taken a lot of family vacations over the years and this is the fist one Where our kids don't want to leave a where we are. They love it here! Thanks so much for everthing! We'll be back!

Ray & Gwenn, Thank you for the wonderful stay here at the Hideaway! We enjoyed the fruit, piña coladas, the beautiful gardens, and peaceful grounds. Our visit to El Yunque and hiking up to Mt. This was our second stay at Coqui's Hideaway and it immediately felt like home. The flowers, trees, wild life and peace & quiet were what I was looking for and found. Your house has all the amenities we needed, and more! We really appreciated the fresh fruit. Googled how to eat them and all were delicious! I think we enjoyed the pool area the most. Even when we had rain, we were protected. We visited El Yunque twice - the new visitors' center is magnificent. Don't miss the 20-minute movie! We also spent a day in Old San Juan, visiting the forts, and eating at El Convento. And of course a day at Luquillo Beach - one of the most beautiful beaches! I hope it's not another 10 years before we return. Thank you Ray & Gwenn, for your incredible hospitality allowing us to share this beautiful property.

I came here many years ago with my sister and niece, and couldn't stop raving about the amazing experience we had here. So this time I brought my boyfriend to stay here before our cruise from San Juan. Gwenn was out of town, but Ray was just as gracious as I remembered. The level of hospitality is truly unsurpassed. This is such a peaceful and relaxing getaway. With spectacular views and such beautifully maintained grounds, it is the definition of paradise. We look forward to visiting again in the future!
