Current COVID-19 Restrictions (updated 08 Apr 2021) —
🚩 The new executive order (EO-2021-026) goes into effect 09 April 2021 and will be in effect through 09 May 2021
🏠 Curfew is from 10pm until 5am.
😷 Masks covering mouth & nose, as well as social distancing, are required in public.
🏖️ Beaches, pools & bodies of water (rivers, lakes, etc) are permitted to be open from 5am to 9pm. Masks are required while not in the water. Only small groups of people from the same family permitted on beaches, etc. Social distance of 10' required between groups on beaches, etc. Consumption of alcohol is prohibited on beachs, etc.
🛒 Stores, businesses & banks may be open 5am to 9pm at 50% capacity.
🍽️ Restaurants may be open 5am to 9pm. Indoor restaurants are limited to 50% capacity. Outdoor restaurants may operate ato 100% capacity, though must maintain 6' distance between parties.
🎲 Casinos are permitted to be open 5am to 9pm at 50% occupancy.
🏋 Gyms are permitted to be open 5am to 9pm at 50% capacity.
🍿 Movie theaters are permitted to be open 5am to 9pm at 30% capacity.
🍺 Chinchorros, "party buses", bars & clubs remain closed.
⛵ Use of motorized watercraft is permitted. Marinas are permitted to be open. Individual watercraft - kayaks, stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and jet skis - are permitted. It is prohibited to attach boats together ("rafting").
⛴️ Tourists are permitted on the ferry to both Culebra and Vieques, unless the island mayor says differently.
🚌 AMA buses & Tren Urbano will operate with COVID restrictions
🌳 El Yunque National Forest is open, but reservations are required for entry (available at Recreation.gov)

Location of Coqui's Hideaway
Coqui's Hideaway is located on the Eastern end of the island approximately 35 minutes from the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan. It's a short drive to visit the Rainforest, Old San Juan, and the beaches on the north-eastern and eastern coasts.
We are located at the edge of El Yunque National Forest, but still close to other things that you might need during your vacation.
